Branislav Tomich will make you laugh and maybe even laugh through tears about what he calls “The Three D’s” - Death, Depression, and Dementia, in his bittersweet one-man play about what happens to us as the people we love grow older.

Tomich’s auto-biographical work brings the audience into a very intimate space where he reveals inner musings, pain, and a decidedly humorous take on a stage of life that touches everyone in some way.
Blue Lanterns’ ultimate goal is a funny and life-affirming reminder of the importance of love in our lives.

BRANISLAV TOMICH has performed throughout the U.S., including the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Carnegie Hall, La Mama, in sit-coms and independent films. He played the title role in
The Nerd, Touchstone in As You Like It, Tim in Noises Off with Millicent Martin, and Ozolin in Sonya with Julie Harris at The Phoenix Theatre Co., NY. His work as a solo theater artist has been honored by a National Endowment for the Arts grant and a Los Angeles DramaLogue Award.

SYDNIE GROSBERG RONGA has directed extensively in New York, St. Louis, and regionally, staging plays such as
Mrs. Warren’s Profession, Design For Living, Hayfever and several new plays. As Associate Artistic Director of The Phoenix Theatre Company, Sydnie directed Boy Meets Girl, Alone At The Beach, and The Nerd, all featuring Branislav Tomich. She has worked with students of all ages, directing shows from elementary school to college and is an acting teacher and coach. This is her second solo show with Branislav Tomich.
