Mr. Tomich holds a BFA/education degree with K-12 certification from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. In 1998 he completed the training program with Creative Alternatives of New York (CANY). Using theater as a therapeutic tool by combining theater improvisation with modern psychoanalytic group techniques CANY has been providing special workshops for special populations for thirty years.

As a group facilitator Mr. Tomich has conducted groups at Mt. Sinai Hospital psychiatric facility (in patient and out patient), Bronx V. A., Manhattan and Brooklyn homeless shelters, and after school programs working with such diverse populations as geriatrics, veterans, MICA-mentally ill/chemically addicted, and “at risk” youth. He currently conducts groups for children with cancer at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
